Pham Ha Hai Coffee filter and coffee drops

The first time I saw Pham Ha Hai’s (further Hai) painting which was a lotus painting with a green leaf. That is still the most impressive painting in my mind up to now, whenever Hai is mentioned.

In a curious talk about the profession, I asked Hai how he controlled his hands when his brain thought about some image. He answered that the painting itself led the way. And similarly, about his creative trend, Hai said: “I myself will be like a coffee filter so that what I draw will be drops of coffee ...”
